Dallas Cowboys
Dallas could dump Owens
Thursday, January 15th, 2009 | NFL | No Comments
The team likes to talk about locker room chemistry, but I think we all know that Terrell Owens is a big pain in the ass. The Cowboys released Pacman Jones who has been suspended two times this season and Tank Johnson is rumored to depart through free agency. The Cowboys started the 2008 season with three players that had been by there previous team, the list included Owens, Jones, and Johnson. It might not be that easy to get Jerry Jones to dump Ownes since he give him a $12 million signing and because of this they have to worry about the salary-cap. But the team is still looking to win and if they can’t get along there will be no Super Bowl in 2009. ” I think we all know that chemistry is the problem with this team more than the schemes or anything else.” A Cowboy source told ESPN. Owens who is not getting along with Tony Romo and Jason Witten has also been very vocal criticizing offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. Garrett has been talking to the Rams and Lions about a head-coaching position and if Owens stays put you can bet Garrett will move on. The team is also worried about the bad influence Owens has on Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton, and Marion Barber. The Cowboys move into their new $1 billion stadium this year.
I say drop this guy, all we read about in pro sports is of these dumb athletes causing problems or getting arrested. When is the NFL going to ban someone for life? You make millions to play football, shut your mouth and stay of of jail its not that hard. I’m sure someone will give Owens a bonus for being a pain in the ass.
Cowboys feeling the heat nationwide

One of the great plays by the Cowboys
A day after the Dallas Cowboys got crushed 44-6 by the Philadelphia Eagles local nationwide news sources are ripping into the team. The Dallas Morning News said “Quitting Time” about the team and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram described the game as “Pathetic. Truly pathetic. All of the backlash is with good reason the Cowboys ended the season with back to back losses, and had a 9-7 record. The Cowboys haven’t lost a game with such a large margin since Jerry Jones bought the team in 1989. Jones who is always to involved in the teams day to day operations is not a happy man. Maybe he should let the coaches take care of the team and stop talking to the media every five minutes. The Cowboys have not won a playoff game since 1996 when they beat Minnesota.
The team is moving into there new $1.1 billion stadium next year in Arlington Texas. I don’t think this is the way the team wanted to move into there new stadium. This season has been filled with nothing but drama on top of Jerry Jones being a pain in the butt owner, fans have also had to deal with Tony Romo and Terrell Owens pushing the blame around when they both stink. How about this guys, play football you are professional football players. Stop acting like a bunch of premadonnas. As someone who has come to dislike the Cowboys over the years because of Jerry Jones annoying antics and poor management decisions last nights loss just made me laugh. Jerry you have come such a long way since that 1995 team.
