NCAA Football Week 7 Update
Monday, October 13th, 2008 | College Football, Sports | No Comments
College football did not disappoint fans this weekend. We started the weekend with fifteen teams unbeaten and five of these teams saw there perfect season vanish. One team that is living up to there perfect season is Penn State beating Wisconsin 48-7. The Nittany Lions move to number 3 after this weekend win.
Even with perfect record Texas Tech went into over time to pull off a win over Nebraska. Michigan season looks to be over very early this year with a lose to Toledo. With a visit to Penn State next week it’s not looking good for Michigan. North Carolina comes out 5-1 after a win over Notre Dame. Miami with three interceptions and only 216 yards on offense was able to pull out a win over UCF. Next week should be another nail bitter BYU takes on TCU and will Kansas take down Oklahoma?
The 10 teams left unbeaten:
Alabama 6-0
Ball State 7-0
Bosie State 5-0
BYU 6-0
Oklahoma State 6-0
Penn State 7-0
Texas 6-0
Texas Tech 6-0
Tulsa 6-0
Utah 7-0

Big weekend in college football
Monday, September 29th, 2008 | Sports | No Comments
NCAA Football Week 5
- Michigan has record breaking come back to beat Wisconsin 27-25. The Wolverines had five turnovers in the first-half but this didn’t stop QB Steven Threet to come back in the second half for a big win.
- Probably the most talked about game this weekend Ole Miss blocks an extra-point attempt to upset Florida for a 31-30 win.
- Alabama rolls in from a SEC hopeful to a possible SEC front runner. Alabama beats Georgia and with Florida losing it looks like they are going to be the team to watch.
- Notre Dame coming off a bad loss to Michigan State last week beat Purdue 38-21.
- Ohio State welcomed back Chris Wells who defiantly showed he was ready to play rushing 106 yards on 14 carries. Ohio State beats Minnesota 34-21
