The Grateful Dead part 2

the_deadOne of the most successful touring bands ever is going to hit the road one more time. It will be a 19 show 16 city tour with all of the remaining members of the band and will kick off on April 12. They will not be called The Grateful Dead this time around because the late Jerry Garcia is no longer in the band. They will now tour under the shorter name The Dead like they did five years ago during their last reunion. The tour should feature Grateful Dead classics and will be one of the biggest tours of 2009.

Guns N’ Roses to release new album

After what seems like 10 years Guns N’ Roses will finally release there first album since 1991.  The album which has been delayed many times will be avalible at Best Buy on Nov 23.  There are rumors that GNR may do a 2009 world tour but knowing the lead singer this will end up happening in 2015.
