One more sponsor gone for Tiger
Thursday, December 31st, 2009 | Golf, Tiger Woods | No Comments
AT&T announced today that they will no longer sponsor Tiger Woods, joining a growing list of firms that are dropping or cutting back sponsorship of the super star. All of this comes after the numerous allegations of infidelities continues to grow. AT&T does not use Woods’ image in advertising, but they do haveĀ logo on his golf bag. The deal that is multi-year that was signed in 2009. Woods also has hosted the AT&T National PGA tour since 2007. AT&T will still sponsor the event which is heal in Newtown Square, PA in July.
Some of the other companies to drop Tiger this year are Accenture, Gillette, Tag Heauer, and Electroic Arts who has not made a definite plans on their future with Woods’. Electronic Arts is the maker of the wildly famous “Tiger Woods PGA Tour” which is a series of golf video games.
I think many people can agree with me that it’s hard to feel bad for this guy, you have $500 million dollars and you couldn’t keep your hands to your self. This just helps back my belief that 99% of famous people are morons.
