I know most football fans feel the same way as me and do not care that Brett Favre is back for the 1099384 time. Yes, he will be QB for the Minnesota Vikings this year, why can’t this guy just move to Florida like my grandmother did when she retired. I have wanted to avoid posting about this all week but I guess its big news. Good luck grandpa.
Plaxico oh how dumb you are and now you have two years to think about it each and every day. Plaxico pleaded guilty Thursday to weapons charges and will serve two years in prison after he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a nightclub. Burress pleaded guilty to one count of attempted criminal possession of a weapon, which is a lesser charge than he initially faced. Under the two year prison sentence he agreed to he will also have two years of supervised release. With time off for good behavior, the sentence could be reduced to 20 months.
I say good put him in jail let him think about this for two years and all the money it cost him. I do not sympathies for these pro athletes who get paid millions of dollars and then go out and do this dumb stuff. Good luck Plaxico don’t drop the soap.

The Chicago Blackhawks tickets for the 2009-2010 season went on sale today and it sold out fast. All of the individual games were put on sale to the general public and it looks like the Chicago fans are ready to go. Within about a half our most good seats looked to be sold out for most games and there were some very expensive seats still available. That brings up something else I noticed about prices, what are the Blackhawks thinking? $160-$400 seats and in this economy? Here is another team out of touch with the fans and what is going on in the world. I guess if the fans don’t say anything then what does the team care they will just keep raising the prices.
For those of you that missed it Patrick Kane said something to fans today, don’t want to say he apologized because it wasn’t anything close to that. Check it out below.

Michael Vick has signed a two year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles will hold a news conference on Friday morning to announce his signing. The first year of the deal is for $1.6 million with an option for the second year at $5.2 million.
