As we reported earlier this month Bruce Springsteen is doing some shows in his home town of NJ in Oct. He has now also added some more US dates all at big venues. Most are not in major cities and this is kind of a surprise you would think he would do NY or Chicago. You can find the full list of dates and cities here. We will update this page if he adds more shows so check back.
A few big name twitter accounts were hacked and had some funny tweets posted. Britney Spears and Ellen Degeneres accounts got hacked over the weekend. Someone posted on Britney’s that Britney has passed today,” one of the fake messages said. “It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come.”
Spears has just finished up her Europe leg of her tour and is heading back to the states for her 2nd round of her US shows.
Its that time of the year the Cubs and White Sox series is coming to an end and both of these teams do not have much to be proud of this seasons. As always the series is good for some great insults from both sides and this year was no different. Lou Piniellastarted off with taking a swipe at the jump in attendance when the Cubs travel down to the south side. He noted that there were 20,000 more fans at the park this weekend and not even the Dodgers that visited the weekend before could bring in numbers like this. Ozzie shot back with
“Because our fans are not stupid like Cubs fans, Guillen said. “They know wer’re {expletive}.
Gullen said Cubs fans will watch any game at Wrigley Field because “Wrigley Field is just a bar.”
This was funny because its kind of true, but I’m not 100% sure if he also didn’t insults White Sox fans. Oh man you got to love Chicago baseball.
No, Lou Piniella did not have a drug problem I was just joking, but he did say this week that he has tried out marijuana one time. This was when he was talking about the news the Soto tested positive for marijuana early this year. Lou said
“Look, I have smoked dope one time in my life, and it didn’t do a damn thing for me, and I never tried it again,” he said. “And I’m fortunate because of that. But a lot of people do [smoke marijuana]. You can buy it in California from a pharmacy.”
Lou has had a busy week as he also told Milton Bradley to go home during Fridays game after he had a blow up from his pop up for an out in the top of the 6th. Milton you make $10 million a year and Cubs fans think you are the biggest waste only one person to blame buddy.

The Cavaliers and the Suns have come to an agreement to trade Shaquielle O’Neal to the Cavailers to play with super star LeBron James. The deal should be finalized Thursday, according to ESPN sources. Cleveland will give up Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic and 46th pick in Thursday’s NBA draft. Shaq could be a dominant force since center Zydrunas Ilguskas has been breaking down since February. The Cacaliers struggled to defend Dwight Howard in the playoffs when they played the Magic and with the addition of the big man this should help. Shaquille averaged 17.8 points and 8.4 reboudns per game and made is 15th All-Star game. O’Neal who had only one year left on his contract will not take up any salary cap for the Cavs which made him a much better option, rumor had it that Cleveland was also looking at Tyson Chandler. The Cavaliers are not done with Shaq they are still looking to re-sign their power forward Anderson Varejao. With this trade the Suns look to save about $10 million next year in luxury tax and if Wallace decides to retire and they can buy him out of his $14 million contract they could save even more. The Suns are looking to rebuild and have the 14th pick in the draft.
