Cards paying big money

Monday, February 23rd, 2009 | NFL | No Comments

kurtwarnerThe Arizona Cardinals have nothing set in stone yet, but a source told ESPN that the team has offered Kurt Warner $10 million a year to keep him in AZ. Warner who took the team to there first Super Bowl could be looking for a bit more, rumor flying around are saying he needs more like $14-$16 million a year. This would put him in one of the top five quarterback spots in the NFL. Warner threw 4,583 yards and had 30 TD’s completing 401 of 598 passes. Both sides have until Thursday to reach a deal or he will be an unrestricted free agent. Don’t think the Cards want that to happen, lets see if he gets what he wants.
