Mickelson leads Rivera

Phil Mickelson took the lead Thursday with an 8-under 63 which is his career-best at the Riviera. It’s the first time in 10 rounds this year he broke 70. His previous best at the Riviera was a 64 in the second round last year and went on to a two shot victory. Most of the Media attention has be on 17-year-old Ryo Ishikawa of Japan who is making his tour debut.
