Beckham will stay in LA

Monday, February 16th, 2009 | MLS | No Comments

MLS Earthquakes Galaxy SoccerDavid Beckham is still hopeful he will be able to stay with AC Milan this year. As it looks right now they are not going to offer him the amount he wants. The England star who is on short-term loan from the LA Galaxy until March 9th wants to get out of LA. The Galaxy have said that Beckham would “not be as disgruntled as people say” if he returns on March 9. It has been reported that Becham will try to buy himself out of the contract, which has a clause allowing him to leave without compensation at the end of the 2009 season. Reports by The Times say that AC Milan’s initial offer for Beckham was $3 million much lower then Beckham was looking for. Beckham is reportedly looking for $10-$15 million.
