White Sox sign Colon
Thursday, January 15th, 2009 | MLB
Former Cy Young Award winner and two time All-Star Bartolo Colon agreed to a one year $1 million deal with the White Sox. Colon could earn $2 million more based on innings. He pitched for the White Sox in 2003 with a 3.87 ERA going 15-13 and having a 173 strikeouts. Last year the 35 year old right handier was only able to make seven starts with the Red Sox because of back stiffness that put him on the DL for 3 months.
