Monday, December 8th, 2008 | NHL | No Comments

elisha_cuthbertGary Bettman handed down his ruling today and Sean Avery is suspended for six games. Avery has already been out two games after making inappropriate comments, not pertaining to the game. OJ going to jail

Monday, December 8th, 2008 | General, Sports | No Comments

simpson_ojOJ Simpson has just been sentenced to at least 15 years in jail and could be as much as 33. The disgraced football icon will not be freed during his appeal and will not be eligible for parlor for at least 5 years. Simpson address the court before the sentence was handed down “I stand before you today sorry,” an emotional Simpson told Glass, fighting back tears. “I am apologetic to the people of Nevada. … When I came here, I came here for a wedding. I didn’t come to reclaim property.” but it does not look to have helped him out at all. He originally attained stardom as a running back at the collegiate and professional levels, and was the first NFL player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. Simpson’s rushing mark was set during the 1973 season.
